On National Defense, a comparative

Every year, we (US citizens) pay $700 billion to keep our National Defence alive and strong.

You might be as surprised to hear people are 1048 times more likely to die in an automobile accident than a terrorist attack.

I did a little research and found out that for every dollar spent on Transportation, about $10 is going into defence.

This makes me a little uneasy, seeing as how everyone is so scared about terror, but no one thinks twice about driving their car.

Anyway, if you want to read more statistics on the ratios of dying by acts of terror to other things.
