Kody's toy plane

As a screaming 747 jet soared out of Los Angeles, Kody started to fold the wings of his newest paper plane.

Just outside the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, this was Kody's favorite place to come and sit before dusk.  Like any adventurous boy, being a pilot seemed like the only thing he would ever want to do for a living.

Since home life was mired by a younger, more favored little sister, Kody spent more time here than anywhere else.  He had mapped out the route in his head so many times.

Go behind the Fresh and Easy, crawl under a chain link fence. walk for about a quarter mile alongside the LA wash (the most urban of all rivers ever), and sneak through a drainage pipe.  So, Kody was very surprised upon the folding of what could have been his 5000 paper airplane, to hear voices coming toward him.  He quickly hid behind an abandoned dumpster bin, listening to their conversation.

"Alex isn't in charge of the files," said  The files are in Sheldon's computer."

It became apparent that one man was held captive by the others.  He is thrown to the ground.

"We need the files," the man said.

Kody cannot believe it.  His entire body turned to stone.  He tried to hold his breath when...*cough*.

Kody coughs and the men know, they are not alone.
